Yikes! Is it Really January??

When I went to download pictures from Christmas, I realized that I had never posted anything about Thanksgiving. Yikes! I only took a few pictures that day. We spent the day at my mom and dads. It was a pretty typical Thanksgiving-Lots of yummy food, visiting, playing, lots of noise and the day ending entirely too soon. I contributed Sarah Salad (a Maynard specialty) and some pumpkin rolls. I made around 30 pumpkin rolls from Thanksgiving to Christmas! I may never make a pumpkin roll again.

Cayle, Peyton and Bo eating dinner. The kids took over the tables in the living room and the adults ate in the kitchen. I think my mom had meant it the other way around, but it worked. I think there was only one spilled glass on the carpet :) Good thing it wasn't my kid!

Landon eating his dinner in the high chair. He loved his feast!

One day toward the end of November, Landon insisted on eating his lunch with Peyton's old coyboy hat on. Yee Haw!

For St. Nicholas Day (December 6), the kids wrote letters to Santa and left them in their shoes. Santa came in the night, took the letters and left some goodies for them. A fun German tradition that Josh did as a kid.
