We're back to the grindstone! School started for us on August 19th-almost a month ago. Cayle started 3rd grade! She was very excited and gets to go to the new school that was just completed. She really likes her teacher and is off to a good start. Peyton started Kindergarten! He loves school and especially likes recess (of course)! He has a couple of cute girls in his class that he has his eye on, but if you tease him about it he gets feisty (that's how I know it's serious!) The first day of school I was very brave! When Cayle started school I handled things really well-no tears or sadness-I was just excited for her! But I was a little nervous for Peyton. As he got on the bus I felt a little panicky and as it pulled away I had to fight the urge not to chase it down, pull him off, and take him home where he belonged. I had to go inside before I had a melt-down! But I do love my time in the mornings with Bowen and Landon. Bo loves his time with Mom-he talks my ear off all morning. Here's to a new year off school . . .
