Oh Say Can You See . . .

For Independence day, we stuck close to home this year. On Saturday morning, we went to Pocatello for my niece Lexi's baptism. We had a BBQ after and then headed home. The kids swam and Josh and I worked in the yard the rest of the afternoon.

Peyton laid down to warm up and fell asleep. He slept for about 45 minutes and boy was he grumpy when he woke up.

Jeff, Annie and their boys came up and we ate pizza and roasted s'mores and starbursts. As you can see Bowen enjoyed his!

We watched the fireworks in Idaho Falls from our house. You can barely see them but the kids like it.
On Sunday we went to Colvin's house and ate lots of goodies and visited with neighbors. When it got dark we settled in for the neighborhood fireworks show. We gave Frank Vandersloot a run for his money :)

The boys bundled up to enjoy the show!
