A Little Catch-up!

These posts are a little out of order but I tried! December was a busy month as always. We had our usual Christmas parties and activities to look forward to. One new tradition that we did was setting our shoes out for St. Nicholas. This is a tradition in Josh's family but this is the first year we have done it with our kids. They had lots of fun doing it and it is definitely something that we will do again next year. Christmas stresses me out but I am always sad when it is over. It is the most WONDERFUL time of the year!

I told the kids to go get their shoes and Bo came back with his flip-flops. There is no talking that boy out of anything. They left their letters to Santa in their shoes and if they were good kids this past year, Santa takes their letters and leaves them a small gift.

MaCayle's Letter to Santa:
Dear Santa,
I want a nintendo DS and earings, clothes and doll stuff and books. I have ben good.
Love, MaCayle

Peyton's Letter to Santa (written by himself):
Dear Santa,
Darth Vader, a bike and megatron.

Bowen's Letter to Santa (with help from Mom):
Dear Santa,
I want a light saber, a chess set, a Wall-e toy, and dress-up clothes and a megatron. I've been a good boy this year.
Love, Bowen

Viva Las Vegas

Josh and I had the chance to go down to Las Vegas for the NFR this year. We have been before, but that was 7 years ago so we were excited to go again. We haven't gone anywhere in a long time (years!) so it was probably long overdue. The kids stayed with Maynards, but we had to take the baby because I am his food supply! He was a good boy though and no trouble at all. We went with some friends of ours, Daren and Shayna Cox and their two kids, Keely and Kyler. We drove down Wednesday, went shopping and to the rodeo on Thursday, Friday was more shopping and a drive to Hoover Dam, Saturday was more shopping (yes I got a little tired of shopping, mainly because I didn't buy anything) and Keely and I rode the roller coaster at New York New York. In between all the shopping we did eat good, which I enjoyed. I didn't take many pictures for some reason. Not having the kids there kind of threw me off I guess! It was fun to run into people from home. It is pretty sad that we had to go all the way to Vegas to see people that live in our same town! Everywhere we went people couldn't get enough of Landon. You would of thought people in Vegas had never seen a baby before (maybe they haven't-that place is crazy!) Good times.

Our tickets to the rodeo-we were in the nose-bleed section. Seriously we were in the last row.

This is where I had to put Landon before we left so I could get something done. Peyton pushed him around.

This is the aquarium at South Point. Landon really liked it!

Here is the gang at the rodeo.

Waiting not so patiently for the rodeo to start

This kid is from Pocatello-He didn't do so good this round.

Kyler LOVED pushing Landon around all the shows. People thought they were so cute!

Thanksgiving!

This year we went to Josh's mom and dad's house for Thanksgiving. We drove down that morning and left about 9:30 that night. The day went way too quickly! We had lots of fun and the kids had fun playing with their cousins. Here's a few pictures of our day!

Shooting clay pigeons after dinner. I had a big old bruise on my shoulder the next day and I was only shooting a 20 gauge. Yes I must be a wimp!
